Training · ISA/IEC 62443
OT security training for the people who run your plant
Practical ISA/IEC 62443 courses for control engineers, OT and IT security teams and system integrators. Public virtual batches and in-house programmes.
Contain the threat, keep the plant running
Zones and conduits stop threats from reaching control systems, while approved data keeps moving.
The people who run the plant are its strongest control, once they know what to look for.
Dr. Sanjay Vaid, Invocore
Two levels, one practical approach
Our OT security courses are built around real plant environments: PLC, DCS and SCADA systems, networks, remote access and vendor connections. Participants learn how to apply ISA/IEC 62443 in practice, not just what the standard says.
The challenge
Why this matters now
Most OT security incidents are not stopped by technology alone. They are stopped by an engineer who questions an unexpected remote session, an integrator who designs segmentation in from the start, or a maintenance team that knows which change could open a path into the control network.
Our ISA/IEC 62443 courses are built for those people. Instead of slides about the standard, participants work through realistic plant scenarios: mapping assets, drawing zones and conduits, assessing risk and deciding which controls matter. They leave able to apply 62443 to their own systems.
Skills gap
Few engineers have formal training in OT security, while demand from plants, OEMs and integrators is growing.
Shared language
IT and OT teams need a common framework to work together on security.
Supplier requirements
Customers increasingly expect integrators and suppliers to understand ISA/IEC 62443.
Quick self-check
How ready are you?
Answer four questions leaders ask us. Your result appears instantly; nothing is stored or sent.
Do our engineers understand how ISA/IEC 62443 applies to their systems?
Can our teams carry out an OT risk assessment themselves?
Do IT and OT teams share a common language on security?
Are integrators and vendors held to the same standard?
What we deliver
Capabilities
OT Security Fundamentals · 2 days
IT vs OT security, the 62443 series and its roles, the Purdue model, zones, conduits and security levels.
OT Security Practitioner · 3 days
Risk assessment to 62443-3-2, system requirements to 62443-3-3, segmentation design and an asset-owner security programme.
In-house programmes
Courses tailored to your plants, technologies and teams, delivered on site or online.

Selected
Enterprise IT
Business networks and systems such as ERP and email. Under 62443 they sit outside the control zones and connect only through the DMZ.
Industrial DMZ
A buffer zone between IT and OT. Firewalls, jump hosts and data replicas mean no direct traffic passes between business and control networks.
Operations
Site-level systems such as historians, MES and patch servers that collect data and manage production.
Supervisory
SCADA servers, HMIs and engineering workstations that monitor and command the process. A frequent target, so access is tightly controlled.
Control
PLCs, DCS controllers and RTUs that run the process logic in real time. Changes here need strict authorisation.
Field devices
Sensors, actuators and drives that measure and act on the physical process. Their integrity is essential to safety.
